Il ministro dell’Economia parla di un notevole risparmio degli interessi sul debito di ben diciassette miliardi di euro nel 2024, dovuto all’abbassamento dello spread, che si sta avvicinando in questi giorni al traguardo del 110 punti basi. Mai così basso da moltissimi anni.

In parole semplici, il Governo non ha chiesto soldi in prestito per fare la Manovra di Bilancio per il prossimo anno.

La riduzione degli interessi sul debito grazie alla riduzione dello spread è stato di ben 17 miliardi di euro. Sono risorse che non si sono ancora riflesse sui conti pubblici italiani, e costituiscono un buon tesoretto per il 2025.

Nel 2024 il ministro dell’Economia Giancarlo Giorgetti aveva puntato ad una riduzione dello spread che poi è avvenuta. Difficile pensare che lo spread vicino a quota 100 possa scendere ancora e mantenersi sotto questa cifra nel 2025. Pertanto nel prossimo anno, la priorità del governo e del ministero dell’Economia, sarà la crescita economica del Paese.
